Over a century of community at the heart of Tackley

Our History

1919

Memorial Hall Founded

The hall was built on Nethercote Road as a memorial to those from Tackley who gave their lives in the Great War.

1932

Deed of Gift

The hall was formally gifted to the village, establishing it as a community asset held in trust for the people of Tackley.

1974

Move to Medcroft Road

A new, purpose-built hall opened on Medcroft Road with improved facilities, where it stands today.

Today

A Thriving Community Hub

Home to over ten regular groups and activities, the Pop Up Pub, and a venue for village events throughout the year.
